Children's Worker & Youth Worker

Preaching Opportunities / Youth Ministry / Children's Ministry

Summary

Youth Worker (for ages 11-18) and a Children‘s Worker (for 0-11s) to oversee, grow and develop our well-established youth and children‘s ministry.

About the Role

St Andrew’s, Leyland is a multi-congregational reformed, conservative evangelical Anglican church.

We are looking to appoint a Youth Worker (for ages 11-18) and a Children‘s Worker (for 0-11s) to oversee, grow and develop our well-established youth and children‘s ministry. The posts would ideally suit experienced people with a proven history of leading, team-building and delegating in a youth and children‘s ministry that is gospel-focused and bible-led. However, there is flexibility for us to consider less experienced candidates with potential to grow into the roles.

Children's Worker (x1) Youth Worker (x1)

Candidates will be wholehearted followers of Jesus, and able to demonstrate godly character. They will have the necessary skills and abilities for youth / children‘s ministry, with a proven experience in teaching the Bible creatively and engagingly to children or young people. The roles will require an ability to be able to motivate, lead and train volunteers to grow in their roles and provide a long-term strategy. An ability to take the initiative whilst still maintaining the ethos of being a servant and a team-player is vital.
