This position is for men and women who are exploring ministry and looking for opportunities to develop their gifts and experience church-based ministry firsthand. Some of these opportunities include helping with and leading youth groups alongside other youth leaders, being a full member of the staff team and having administrative and practical responsibilities to assist in the practical running of the church.

About Emmanuel Church Wimbledon

Emmanuel is an Anglican Evangelical Church with a congregation of over 400 people whose vision is to "Glorify God by being disciples and making disciples of Jesus". Our church family is very varied in type and age range, and we welcome people from every background. Our Sunday services are at 10.30am and 6pm (and at 8.30am for communion every first and third Sunday of the month). We also have many different activities during the week, including Bible studies, Mums and Tots/Dads and Tots, and ministry for 11s-18s and retired people.

About the Role

We love having men and women who are exploring ministry and looking for opportunities to develop their gifts and experience church-based ministry firsthand. Some of these opportunities include:

  • Helping and leading youth groups alongside other youth leaders
  • Being a full member of the staff team
  • Having administrative and practical responsibilities to assist in the practical running of the church
  • Giving talks in a number of different contexts
  • Receiving training on the Cornhill Training Course.

Funding/Financial Information

We provide accommodation, living costs and pay for training with Cornhill.
