Media / Children's Ministry
Our one or two year Ministry Associate Programme offers servant-hearted men and women the opportunity for training in Bible handling, study and mentoring whilst being involved with our children & youth ministries.
About St Nicholas Sevenoaks
St Nicholas Church is an Anglican evangelical church in the centre of Sevenoaks, seeking to bring glory to God through proclaiming and obeying his Word. We believe that the heart of the gospel is that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, to bring us forgiveness and new life. We seek to proclaim this message joyfully to people in Sevenoaks and throughout the world. 800-900 people attend each Sunday and we also strongly encourage mid-week small group ministry.
About the Role
We are looking for men and women committed to Christ and keen to serve and learn. The Ministry Associate role would potentially involve:
• Bible ministry to Children and Youth on Sundays, mid-week and 1-to-1
• Helping with music
• Administrative and practical support for various ministries
There is a further position, know as the 'Tech Ministry Associate' responsible for many of the normal Ministry Associate roles but particularly responsible for running our church lighting, projection, sound, recording and web uploads.

Our MA positions are unpaid voluntary positions. We provide, however, a bursary to enable MAs to attend The Cornhill Training Course. This bursary also covers travel costs to Cornhill and necessary accommodation.
