The internship is designed to prepare and deploy individuals with a heart for serving churches within pioneering urban situations
BIBLICAL AND THEOLOGICAL TRAINING: inhouse formation, weekly external training course, book discussions, and training sessions with staff.
FOCUSED MINISTRY TRAINING: shadowing, one-to-one mentorship, development in a specific ministry area (e.g. media and communications, student work, youth and children’s work, or operations).
EXPERIENCE IN PRACTICAL SERVICE: behind the scenes training and involvement in church life and ministry (evangelism and pastoral care).
INVESTMENT IN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: at least 50 hours of one-to-one mentoring with senior staff, training in communication, teamwork, problem solving, adaptability, critical observation, and conflict resolution.
PLACEMENT AT PARTNER CHURCH: experience of a different church context during a 4-6 week placement at an international partner church in either Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi or Dubai.
