Book on for Maximise 2025

We’re excited to be returning to High Leigh in 2025 for our next Maximise Conference (8–10 January). Bookings are now open – get your ticket today!

Who’s it for?

Maximise is for ministry trainees, apprentices, interns and others who are in the early years of a ministry pathway, or who are just dipping their toe into gospel ministry for a year or two. They may be full-time (paid or self-funded), part-time or just ramping up their ministry in their spare time. Also welcome is anyone who is considering a future focused on the work of the gospel or who wants to be inspired and equipped to maximise their gospel ministry where they are right now. Each year we welcome between 50 and 100 people from all over the country who are looking to explore their gospel future. We also encourage church leaders to attend the conference alongside their trainees.

Finances

We don’t want money worries to stop anyone from coming to Maximise and we’ve subsidised places as much as we can. If you need further financial help in order to attend the conference, please let us know. We can arrange for you or your church to pay in instalments, or it might be possible to offer you a discount. Please talk to us and we’ll see what we can do!

Workshops (2025 update)

This is your chance to get feedback on your teaching the Bible to others. If you’ve been before, please note we’re doing things a little differently this year. At the time of booking, you’ll get to choose whether you’d like to give a short finished talk for a general audience, a finished talk for a specific audience (e.g. a youth group or a women’s group), a talk outline or a Bible study outline. Whichever option you choose, you will have the opportunity to present before a small group, after which you’ll receive feedback from your group leader and from the other members of your group. You’ll also be able to give feedback to other group members in turn. Full instructions and passages will be given closer to the conference. So please block out some time in December for your preparation.

Mentoring sessions (new for 2025)

Each person attending will have the opportunity to talk onetoone with an experienced gospel worker about their pathway going forward and the decisions facing them. Please note that your primary source for wisdom on next steps should normally be your own church leadership. These sessions are not designed to replace this, but to offer a supplementary voice.

Getting There

Maximise 2025 will take place at High Leigh Conference Centre in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.

How do I get there?

By car: come off the M25 at Junction 25 and take the A10 north. Come off (about 6 miles later) at the Hoddesdon junction.

By train: the nearest station is Broxbourne, which is served by London Liverpool Street. It’s a two-mile walk from the station so if you have heavy luggage we recommend getting a taxi.

By plane: the closest airport is Stanstead. From there, you can catch the train to Broxbourne or it’s a forty-minute drive.

Is there free parking?

Yes, plenty of it.

Accommodation

What is the accommodation like?

Ensuite, comfortable and spacious! For photos and more details, head over to High Leigh’s website.

Will I have to share a room?

No, there’s plenty of space so everyone has a room to themselves.

Accessibility

Is Maximise/High Leigh disability-friendly?

Yes!

Like all the CCT Conference Centres, High Leigh is accessible for delegates with disabilities. Reception is just by the entrance on the ground floor; there are no steps between it and the car park. There’s wheelchair access to the main meeting room (via a lift) and this room also has a hearing aid loop. Our group sessions will take place in break-out rooms – some (though not all) of these will be on the ground floor.

We want to ensure that your time with us at Maximise is as stress-free as possible. If you need more details about accessibility at the conference, please get in touch and we will let you know the answers as soon as possible. Similarly, if you have any special requirements (such as an accessible bedroom, or for your group to meet in a break-out room on the ground floor), then you can let us know when you book, or by emailing.

Testimonials from Maximise

Maximise is an excellent combination of teaching which will make a trainee think about the future, as well as meeting other trainees and practice in teaching.

Liz Cox

Minister for Women & Community, St Giles' Derby

I love Maximise because it brings together people from across the UK who want to bust a gut for the glory of God. They don’t want to waste their lives, they want to spend it for Jesus, and we come together to explore what that might look like. It’s a highlight of the year for me.

Pete Snow

Vicar, St Paul's Harringay

I have found the Maximise Conference a great opportunity to recharge and renew my heart with the goodness of the gospel as I hear some excellent teaching, meet fellow gospel workers and be encouraged to keep serving God joyfully.

Chloe

Ministry Trainee, Moorlands Church

I don’t think there’s anything quite like Maximise that would cover the range of teaching and guidance needed for ministry trainees today.

Mark Murthen

Associate Vicar, St James' Muswell Hill
